Your photo records are stored on your device. BirdyLog does not operate an account system or upload your photo library to a BirdyLog server.
The app supports Chinese and English interfaces, with bird name references from published checklist sources.

BirdyLog needs photo library permission so you can select bird photos and keep local photo records. If thumbnails are missing, confirm the original photos are still available on your device.
Location permission is used to help record photo locations and show your current position on the map. You can also enter or edit locations manually.
BirdyLog PRO unlocks unlimited photo and location records. Subscriptions and purchase restoration are handled through the App Store.

BirdyLog is a personal bird photography record app. The app is designed to store your records locally on your device. BirdyLog does not require an account and does not operate a BirdyLog server for uploading your photos or observation records.
The app may store records you create, including bird names, scientific names, dates, locations, camera details, tags, notes, photo references, and app settings. This information is stored locally on your device.
BirdyLog requests access to your photo library so you can import selected bird photos and keep photo-based records. The app does not upload your photo library to a BirdyLog server.
BirdyLog may request location permission to help record photo locations and show your current position on the map. You can also enter locations manually.
When you use map, search, or geocoding features, location queries or coordinates may be sent to map and location service providers used by the app, such as Apple, Google, or OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, depending on the feature and platform.
BirdyLog PRO subscriptions and purchase restoration are handled by the App Store. BirdyLog may store a local purchase status so the app can unlock PRO features on your device.
